This is my first time playing CptJameson. I'll write this as I play.
ONE ----
I'm going to start without reading the instructions. Just to see what happens.
*I figured out how to undock, didn't understand the "CAUTION", but because i wasn't zoomed in by default (?) i missed the undock animation D:
*Found the oxy station, Telnetted, and filled my oxy. Awesome animation!
*Derp. Pressed F1 without focus on the game window and opened chrome help.
*Connected to NAV. Didn't QUITE understand the map, but it wasn't important at the time being.
*Re- docked at Atlantis. Game froze for a second, but all was fine. NOW I understand the "don't disconnect"
*Oxy at 20%, finally ran into some enemies in the void.
*OXY LEVELS CRITICAL, I WON THE FIGHT BUT DIDNT TAKE MY (GIRDER) PRIZE.
*1% I'm going to die.
* D: Just the amount of time it leaves between your ship running out of oxy and the game resetting is very emotional. D: WHY IS IT SO SAD
TWO ----
I'll read up this time.
*I read the controls. NO SHIFT-C !?!!?
*Read the FAQ. Kinda already knew all that, except the guardians.
* Nice little "Out-of-character". Maybe we can get the forum's help to collaborate a little somethin'-somethin' for your back story?
* OK LETS GO! TO THE OXY STATION!
* Ok wat. I launched and was stuck spinning around... as if i was holding D. Fixed it by pressing D. Idk what just happened.
*Figured out how to use NAV stations properly. I showed everything and now i know where to go. Towards the a's and ?'s
*Found a scrap station, FARBS WHERE HAVE I HEARD THAT STATIC SOUND BEFORE? >_> RCF. I had my volume up so that scared me a little :F
* Oshi- what is that!? I like how your HUD goes haywire when near a jammer / guardian.
* DIE, FOUL BEAST. Damn - oxy low. I retreated.
*CRITICAL OXY - finding my way back through the asteroids
*Phew. got there with 2% left. I think you should slow down the oxy use just a little bit.
*Well, now i think ill go pirate hunting. I noticed how useless my gun was when fighting the guardian.
*found a simple little alpha, but all he had was translocators.. i needed manly boosters.
*Ok.. I have a manly alpha laser, a bubble shield, and a translocator... Gah waster too much oxy trying to build. Returning to base...
*Refilled. I dont need this bubble shield at the moment, so i'll sell it. It was just dragging me down anyway.
*So i put my spare part in... Telnetted...
*It knows my name. 30 credits get!
*Docked. Game froze a little again. All is well. Testing the "save"
*It works
*More oxy GET
*Now that i have MOAR GUN i'll try to activate some stations
*Missed the station, got myself EVEN MOAR GUN
*Oxy low, gotta head back
*PHEW got back, 1% left. I'll navigate better this time, after i "Save"
*Oxy levels low. I think the oxy needs to be balanced a bit more, it costs me 15-20% of my oxy to navigate "Atlantis". From station to station.
*Found an offline oxy station. Gotta fight for my life.
*This guardian is way harder than the previous one. Died because the fight took too long.
THREE ----
This game has a serious hit and run strategy. I'll post this on the forum now.
