I've been wondering this for a while if this was possible, so I figured I'd give it in the form of a challenge. It's not at all restricted to Captain Forever, but I figured I'd start here. My challenge is: Build a ship, using only Alpha level parts, and get up to Kilo level law with it. The ship cannot have less than 50 girders at the time and the pilot must kill ships up to the Golf level to advance the law.Sure, it's ridiculously hard, but it CAN be done.

possible but not practical .. i tried and alpha lasers will not cut it enough to phase a golf if the golf isnt a station ... the MK2 rockets are the only way to make an alpha class ship move fast enough to kick ass enough to get past E without losing your butt in 10 seconds .. foxtrot is always nimble more often than not .. but you can find an occasional bar type ship without much protection..

So does that mean I cannot have less than 50 girders at any given time?

But got that outta the way. Basically, your ship needs to be composed of 50 or more girders as much as you can realistically manage to do so. If you get 20 blown off, that's fine, but you need to then prioritize on rebuilding back up to over 50. If you complete with less than 50 I'd say that's a no go.

Soisoisoisoi. Ok, but here's a question: let's say I have girders encased in blurst shields. Ok, if a Golf-or-higher ship came up to me, fired, and blew itself up, then technically I am not breaking the rules, because I never fired upon it. So, I will use the Cube of Blurst and turn it into the Ship of Blurst. I would still win legitimately because: - I do not kill the ships, since I don't fire upon them.
- The 50 girders are inside the Blurst Shielding, fulfilling the requirement.
- I am within building level requirements.
- This also means 2 ships can raise my law without me, because due to a flaw in the game, it raises the law regardless of who kills who.
But wouldn't the game be impossible to complete, since you need to kill a Hotel-level ship to go further?
