Thank Admiral Kirana for the idea, first off. (I wonder what fleet, exactly, she heads?)
So, remember when you first began piloting, and you were so engulfed by the atmosphere to worry about strategy? Yeah - let's bring that spirit back. In the form of a challenge!
My challenge is: Attack the first ship seen that can advance the law level to the next tier. The pilot does not have to attack ships two above law level.
I didn't do this for long, but I did it too. Now YOU can relive the glory of your first few playthroughs of Captain Forever! Order now!
(I'm going to try this myself tomorrow - if you know what you're doing, it should be pretty easy, provided the spawn generation doesn't screw you over.)
Additionally, here's another one to try. This one is a bit less interesting because it doesn't give you much to do, but it does challenge your piloting abilities and your eyesight. It's also pretty interesting if you can sit through it.
My challenge is: Reach Kilo level law, provided that the pilot cannot fire or attach girders. Boosters are allowed on any of the command module's four sides.
The boosters are to give a little bit of an extra layer of shielding from the yellow and white lasers. One hit from those and you know what happens.
Good luck, and I'll see you tomorrow.

Imagedump incoming! I tried the first challenge and made it to endgame, although I didn't quite follow the rules by-the-book... Oops! Gonna provide images of all the ships I attacked, what happened, etc etc. Bravo. Easy fight. Charlie. Wasn't too bad, but he was a snappy fellow. Delta. At first I was just like HOLY CRAP THAT'S A BIG DELTA! but then I realized he couldn't turn. Easy but long fight. Echo. Took a while to get to this guy's back, but he was done as soon as I knocked out the rear boosters! Foxtrot. Really damn fast! He wasn't too hard to get past though, after the speed fact. Golf. Two ships came in, same time, so I blew them both up. Took a long time but both died! Hotel. This bastard demolished the decent Golf ship I built pretty much instantly, and managed to get away! Curse him! I had to have him kill another Hotel ship that wandered in just to get past. This is probably the first spot where this would be considered a failed run. Lost the image of the India, but it was a real tank - double-girder layout all over! He had almost no armament though, so he was an easy fight minus the Golf juggernaut that tried disrupting it near the end. Juliet. A real barge of a ship, even by my standards! Had to get another Juliet to kill this guy, though, because 1 Foxtrot laser is not going to do much to Juliet girders. Kilo. Nightmarishly fast, both of these guys were! Ignore the Juliet command module loitering in the center. Eventually made them kill each other and finished! I then died about 8 seconds after finishing because three India ships charged in at the same time while I was putting on the Kilo girders.

Can't believe I didn't see this! I'll have to give it a shot, sounds seriously hectic; Kirana's post really amplifies that... Personally I have waaaayyy too much trouble getting to Juliet, let alone Kilo, so kudos there!

Really? Because I fight Juliet by kiting, and it's not that hard. Kilo, though... that's another story.
