This post by Abewell inspired me to the following suggestion: I feel like from a game play point of view, it doesn't really make sense either. All the lasers/weapons don't fire at the same time/rate, nor do the engines. Yet, all shields are either on or off. So, shields draw from/share the same energy, but every other ship part doesn't? So from a game logic/story point of view how does this make sense? The inconsistency seems a bit off balance. While a bit ranty, Abewell addressed a significant module in the game, shields. When one of our shields' energy drops to 0, all the shields deactivate, and only turn back on once all shields are restored to 100%. My suggestions are these: A way to see the energy percentage of your weakest shield, and a module to upgrade the overall ship's shield energy pool. The idea matches oxygen, where there are modules to increase it and a display in the top left corner to tell you how much of it you have. That's what I would like to see for shields. Signing out for the night, ~Cpt. Darkond

I am all about new and interesting modules. This seems like a wonderful addition!

Whatever Farbs ends up doing with the shield module, I definitely like the idea of having something as part of the HUD so I don't have to click a shield mid battle to see how much is left.

I love this idea. Having it similar to oxygen would be awesome. This brings to mind the idea of having more modules that do more than shoot, boost, or hold. Which I expect will become an important part of the future of this game.

Concerning the Chrono Gear and the Repair Tool, Farbs really hit home runs with these modifier mods. Some other types of modifier mods could really add additional depth to the game. This actually gets me in the mood to make some more prototype module art
