Mornin' all, a quick question;
Is it just me, or do the configuration of enemy ships and the abundance of certain modules seem related to the part of space you're exploring? Like in some spots I'll find lots of sprint boosters, others have lots of snipers, others have lots of bubble shields etc. The type and configuration of the ships encountered also seems to depend on the region you're flying through..
Have mercy if this is an obvious question, I'm quite new to the paid version ;D

It seems like the types of ships you find is decided when you undock, instead of by region.

My findings concur with jhb's. When you dock the enemies reset and normally change configuration. Usually all the ships in one specific area have similar types of modules.
For instance, around the initial spawn point I have found every type of module on alpha class enemies. If I don't find anything that I can use I just dock and hunt around again till I find my oxygen modules, chrono gears, or alpha truss modules.

Now that I have done quite a bit more hunting I have noticed similar things as you Rutger.
When I was attempting to find more Juliet mkII boosters I noticed that a specific area only spawned needlers. I kept docking and hunting that area and I noticed that they either had plank shields or mkII boosters on the side of their command module. I believe it was about every 5th or 6th docking they would spawn with the boosters that I wanted.

Yes, enemies with alike builds tend to gather in the same vicinity. It's not a bad thing, it's pretty convenient.

It is quite convenient. I love stocking up on some powerful modules!

I'm sure that when you find a factory that makes a certain module, the enemies around it have that module on them.

Maybe I'm not paying attention, but I have not found that to be true.
