So i've set up my ps3 controler to play and it's pretty rewarding and much easier on my left hand.

I see that you have the right analog set up for mouse/module movement. Does it work well enough for real time combat situations? Do you still keep a mouse available for quick, precise manipulation?

The right analog works well to pull modules in combat, but I do keep a mouse handy for when I do complete overhauls on the design.

It's good enough for my alumnae. They're loving this, and say that they're gonna spread it around in college.

Ooh, that takes me back to playing Tie Fighter, I used to use a gamepad with one hand for fast movements and a mouse with the other.....thinking about it now I can't really remember which hand operated the many keyboard options =D
(Didn't have a joystick)
