Bloody hell, yes. Just given this version a quick whirl! It might be that the lance (which is awesome) might be a bit OP? Otherwise, bloody good work on all the new stuff!

Brilliant! Simply magnificent!
Tell me, when will the downloadable version come out?

Haven't gotten a chance to actually play this, but from what I've seen in the video, it's looking very impressive! Looking forward to playing this in a bit when I get home.
Are you going to put in a method of importing/exporting save data in the future? I know that there's several of us here who would be very eager to pilot each other's warships!

Bloody brilliant Farbs .. this new evolution of jameson is just out of control bit much on the spelunk .. but otherwise i cant wait for the next rev of this line . this really makes the cost of being a member totally worth it.

Cheers all! I'm not sure when I'll switch to downloadable builds - probably after the Card Hunter downloadable build comes out so that I can piggyback on Jason's work for that Part of the work in creating DL builds will be to shift the savegame system over to local files, so you should be able to share save files pretty easily once that is in place. In the meantime I'll have a look at the import/export system I started building a few months back. It seems to all be there, but I don't think it actually works. Hrm.

Looks like you have a plan for it all. Also, great to hear that you've actually considered the "reworked save-system"!

I've found a game-ending bug. I checked into a Warehouse at Foxtrot level and there was a weird stored object C.M.B - I retrieved it and lo', there was a Bravo Command Module. No pilot, no movement. I click on it, which opened another interface. I retrieved a Kilo Prismatic Laser from it and a Charlie Unibooster. I then destroy the Command Module which resulted in the 'Game Over' blurred screen... Picture attached, yo! Also, I didn't actually GET the prismatic laser, but in the picture you can see the Unibooster

That actually sounds like a neat way to gain allied vessels if it wasn't for the game-over on destruction, but yeah, that's probably a bug.
Any chance that we'll be able to name our own ships? Sure, Charon/Dawn Star isn't that bad of a name but it would add a sense of individuality to the ship, so it's not like "this is just another Charon". Sure, it worked well with the previous games, but the Charon doesn't revive on death. Wouldn't it make sense to give your new ship a different name (or just let the player make their own name?)

Wow, that's an awesome bug. Have added it to my todo list, thanks.
Renaming ships is definitely a good idea, but not a high priority just now I think. A medium priority though, for sure.

I always love playing the first Dawn Star. It brings back nostalgia...
