so i was wondering, are the new parts added to jameson 0.4(or other updates) going to be readded into successor. for example the planck shields added in 0.4 was a great addition to the parts we have now, but it appears it was not added into successor as well. i thought it was going to be readded because successor got the homing missile tweak as well.
the reason why i think Farbs should still update successor is because jameson can take quite abit of time before you actually get anywhere in the game, whereas successor is more like a 40min session, more like a arcade mode, where dying isnt as much a feared thing as in jameson.
so im hoping Farbs will be willing to add the new parts in Jameson back into successor, should we get a word from him is he ever going to do that? obviously stuff like oxygen modules arent going be added, but parts like planck should really be, i reckon.
p.s. Or am i just an idiot and it's already there??

Hi!
It's not there yet, partially because it required a restructure of the bubble shield class so that they'd share functionality so porting it back to Successor is a bit more work, and partially because I wanted to see how well it fit in the game. I might add it later.

ahh, i didnt realise the new shield system was a whole restructure. id done a bit of programming myself so that restructuring must be more work than it meets the eyes. i think the new planck shields fits really well in the game. they have bettering rams much more viable, cuz it's much more easier to control than a bubble shield.
i hope you never abandon successor as it poses a different sort of gameplay than jameson. i hope u will continue to update successor as you update jameson. and thx for the reply.

Hmm, what if the photon spears got added to Successor? That would be a really good addition, I think.
