I'm sorry, as I'm sure this thread is quite a nuisance, probably containing questions everyone knows the answers to already...But I was wondering if someone could help me. I'm relatively new to The Dawn Star, and I just have some unanswered questions that I couldn't really find any answers to anywhere. I wasn't quite sure where to post this thread either, so I just posted it here.
Question 1# - Seeds?
Firstly, how do sector seeds work? I know what a seed is, and I assume there's no control over them. (I play Build 6, and playing the same damn seed is getting boring...I was just wondering if it's possible at all for me to play a new seed, ideally for the same Build?).
Question 2# - Refinaries?
Could someone please explain to me what a refinery is? I've encountered some before, and they confused the heck out of me. I really was at a loss as to how they work, or even what their purpose was.
Question 3# - Banks?
So I've heard people talking about banked credits before (Don't worry, I know what credits are!) but I wasn't aware that these could be stored at all. How is this done?
Once again, I apologise, as the answers to these questions are probably somewhere already, I just can't find them. If someone could get back to me, or just point me in the right general direction, it would be greatly appreciated. ~Thank you

Seeds: Each edition of The Dawn Star uses a pregenerated map with a set seed that cannot be changed. In certain versions of TDS, you can get two different seeds by playing the game in a 32-bit and a 64-bit browser.
Refineries: Shoot asteroids repeatedly -- they will eventually blow up into mineral chunks. These mineral chunks can be pushed (yes, pushed) into the enclosures of refineries and then sold for credits. Try getting creative with Planck Shields to effectively transport minerals.
Banks: Some versions of TDS do not even have banks (or warehouses, for that matter), but the older ones do. In the versions with banks, they are used to store cash through death. Credits stored in banks remain there even if you die.
