If someone could Also post how to take in-game screenshots, that would be nice. Other than that, please share you adventures here. Along with pictures of course.

Certainly. All you need is the PrtScn/SysRq button, found in the top right of your keyboard. Or do you have a Mac?
Well, not much to say about today, other than I filled in the rest of the Wikia that was needed, put in brighter, PNG pictures for the girders, and edited a ton of information. Productive, to be sure.

Cool thanks, check out this Spleunk Sector I just found: not sure how to make the picture bigger, but you can click on it to enlarge it.

You cannot post proper maps, as you can see. It's because double spaces (or more) are ignored, which is quite a bummer.
I like how some smileys appeared, though.
ADD: You've been pretty lucky after all, having a refinery covered by these asteroids.
EDIT: Very well, you've turned into an image. Ignore what's above. (:

Here is the latest alteration of my ship:

These idiots are getting to be a real pain. They've been attacking Johnsonport ever since the end of last month. Here's a shot of a pair of them in the action of vandalizing the navigation post.

gamemasterme, that is one heck of a sweet ship, decked with awesome utilities and modules. You did a very good job on this one, shortly said. Actually, I thought the ship was the other way at first, like, reversed, which would've been a lot more incredible in appearance, but worse in weapon rating, unfortunately. But seriously, this ship is marvelous! You've inspired me to try to build my own vessel based on more appearance in the future! ... When I have more random and higher tier modules available to me, that is.

Just swiping some stuff from an older thread... this ship is really old and it's long since blown up, but it's the strongest vessel I've ever managed to create. The only items not Alpha, Bravo or Charlie are the two ramming spikes (Echo) and I believe some of the lasers (probably Deltas). Like I've probably said earlier, I'm no good at building ships.

At least you've been lucky to find those chrono gears and oxygen auxiliary tanks. I'm no good ship builder either, but I must say this looks rather durable -- until its shields go down, that is. Still, seems like this ship is more of an offensive one, am I correct? Three chrono gears with three prismatic and two basic lasers linked to them would've surely pierced any object that would happen to appear before you. Sorry to hear that it was destroyed.

Here's my latest vessel. I've started to get slightly luckier with my findings. However, I'm still missing/looking for: - Oxygen Auxiliary Tanks- Bubble Shields- Additional Chrono Gears- Additional Blurst Shields- Higher tier Deck GridersAs you can see, I've been trying out the wider layout, enhancing rotation capability. I placed the chrono gear by the core of the ship, then placed the Charlie-tier modules around it so everything I attach to the ship is linked to it, granting x1.25 bonus fire rate. Question: Are the boosters afflicted by the chrono gear? I'm currently cruising around the same location here, freeing the different stations I arrive at. I've been Echo-tier for quite a while now. I've been looking everywhere for a wormhole, but I can't seem to find any. Question 2: Can you find higher tiers if you continue to travel out in empty space in one main area?

Holy fuck, Perez, I had no idea that Chrono gears did exactly that! I am totally getting in on that in my next design. I like your design, it looks seriously mobile but personally - and this is only a personal suggestion - try to find some deck plates to help make your ship more solid. Either way, I bet you can make a full rotation in about five seconds couldn't you? Still really rather busy at the moment, so my current ship hasn't changed except a few blurst shields - in fact it's lost some modules recently

Brain.sys has encountered an error and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvienence! This error alone has led to the loss of three more vessels. Bleh! So here's the next attempt! have no idea what to do with all of this. Also, very nice ship, Perez! If only I could get that far... xD

Well, that's what they do, foohman! I believe the fire rate bonus is x1.5 in Captain Successor, and was reduced in this version to x1.25. Just so you know. I dislike only using griders and trusses -- makes the ship look rather simple. Therefore I have to agree that I have to get my hands on decks. This thing about decks, though, is that I don't often find two decks in one go, which would make me go carry one of them until I find another. Simply just my laziness, hehe ... You were halfway there, foohman. Rotating 180° took approximately 4s 33ms, which mean that a 360° rotation would take a little under twice as much time. You know, I just had to test it out ... I see how it is about your shuttle. Sorry to hear about your modules, were there many valuable pieces? You're still alive, are you? I mean, you've gotten rather far this play-through. I'm looking forward to seeing how the final product of your vessel will turn out once you get time for that. --- Kirana, you have a lot of options there, I can tell you that. I mean, a lot. I guess you're pretty aware of it, anyway. If you feel like it, you can have a look at hostile ships and try to copy them to see how they experience flights. Lots of brilliant modules you've found as well! I'm curious to see what you come up with! Thank you, though. It's simple, as you've probably read above. But you should take use of foohman's tips if you think you're coming along short; "The trick is to take it slow," unless it's a case of low oxygen, which he mentions after that. However, the early tiers are pretty fun, aren't they? The Alpha-tier is, indeed, quite fragile, unless you obtain a load of shields and repair tools. Charlie- and Delta-tiers are probably my favourite tiers. Maybe India- and Juliet-tiers as well, now that I think about it. The game becomes very challenging at these parts, due to stronger lasers. Remember to make sure that you're ready to fight yourself to the next tier.

As I wander around space, stuck in the same location, liberating stations and killing guardians, I stumble upon modules I prefer to attach to my ship, enchanting my durability and weaponry. This is my current shuttle, and I must say I like its tail of deadly thorn, if you get what I mean; ( If the image won't show up, which is happening to me at this current moment, please use this link: imageshack.com/a/img855/6123/dm37.png )Now that a deck has been placed -- looking at you, foohman -- I can gladly inform that I have expanded the capacity of modules and utilities. Therefore I'll be able to, once again, gain a little more speed and maneuverability to glide and slide between narrow asteroids and casual situations. UPDATE:I think I figured out a tactic I can use with this vessel. Here's how it goes: - Take out the target's offensive machinery facing you.
- Ram the target taking out modules inflicted. Griders and trusses are prioritized. One strike is necessary, multiple strikes ain't.
- Fire snipe launchers with additional close-combat prismatic lasers.

Ah, smart - so when the lasers fire they are protected by the Spikes...and thus won't get blown up when right next to the ship.
It also looks like you have a ton of Credits built up - saving for a Laser Juliet factory, I presume?

That's...not what I had in mind, but hey, it pretty much works that way, hehe. It does indeed give me some space between the target and my lasers.
Something Juliet-tier, yeah, not necessarily a laser, but we'll see. It would come in handy, though, this laser.

Status update! I wasn't able to build too great of a ship from the parts (it was really sluggish for turning) but it did bring in more scrap! Here's the new array of parts I collected, sprawled out in the scrapyard. And here's the barge I made from it! It's still pretty sluggish, but it has decent firepower. Whoo, snipe lasers!

The last ship I posted was from Jameson 0.6, this one is from 0.5: Charlie modules are for either scrap or upgrading my current ship, and yes! I have two oxygen modules, they seem to be rarer in 0.6. Charlie modules:All of the snipe launchers, and the outer four engines on the central wings. (the oxygen tanks are alpha)
