Hi, Fire mages are nowhere near as good at shielding as other mages. That should be ok, because they have speed... right? Wrong! Shimmer is important to fire mages because they get a 20% of their hp as a shield out of it. However, when comparing that to other mages like arcane with their unlimited mana shields... no comparison. This means shimmer is chosen over blink... Fire mages are very very weak to interrupts. They have to always be casting and they have the same problem as spriests- only 1 spellschool. Most fire mage damage is focused on flashy bursts, not steady pressure. This makes spells like scorch worthless against even minions. I repetitively scroched a felpupper and he regenerated faster than I did damage. Great, I get hot streak damage, move speed, but at the cost of opening myself to an interrupt.... not cool. So, what needs to be done to make fire competitive? Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
Thanks
